Another group I recently discovered is BIG BANG, a hip hop / pop group from Korea. To be honest I never listened to popular music from Korea or K-pop before. I guess it’s not strange I started to really like BIG BANG after hearing GARA GARA Go which is actually sung in Japanese. I have been able to listen to more material of the group and I must say I’m really enjoying it. GARA GARA Go is definitely one of my fav track thanks to the super poppy sound!

I’m really looking forward to hear new material of BIG BANG and follow some of the groupmembers’ solo projects e.g. T.O.P who released a new single just recently (!) . I will also keep a look out for translated K-pop lyrics since I have seriously no understanding of Korean whatsoever. Hahaha, it reminds me of the time I started to listen to J-pop and couldn’t understand Japanese… but hey, the journey has started and I will probably share more nice K-pop tracks as soon as I’ve found them ~
