I heard about Robyn (!) first through my sister somewhere at the end of the 90s. Her sound was much more rnb-ish / pop-ish and after a few songs she kinda disappeared for me. Until the Swedish singer returned to the charts in 2007 with her hit single ‘With Every Heartbeat’. Until now her 2007 single is the best known here in The Netherlands. Of course Robyn did not go away after she returned in 2007 and she actually has a new album called ‘Body Talk’ out this year of which part 1 and part 2 are released!
Hang With Me
Hang With Me is a new single coming from Robyn’s ‘Body Talk (part 2)’ album. Even though it is not a brilliant composition, I kinda like the relaxed sound of this electropop track. I love the soft sound of Robyn’s voice compared to the edgy sound of ‘La Roux’. I’m definitely looking forward to diving into more recent material of Robyn and check out her ‘Body Talk’ albums ♥
