They are relieved to leave the underground city and travel to the Brecilian Forest to enlist the help of the Dalish Elves. But does the forest truly bring the group the fresh air they are looking for?

Entering the Dalish Camp
Wounded and sick elves

As the group enters the Dalish Camp they learn the forest holds a terrible curse. The leader of the elves, Zathrian, tells Anaïs that they have been trying to fight off Werewolves. The werewolves attack the elves who are slain or cursed too! Zathrian asks if Anaïs can hunt down the leader of the werewolves, a white wolf who goes by the name Witherfang. If she brings the heart of this wolf, they might be able to lift the curse!

Running into the Werewolves
Swiftrunner

As Anaïs tries to go deeper into the Brecilian Forest they run into Swiftrunner and his two bodyguards. He says Anaïs does not know what is going on and warns the group not to follow them deeper into the forest. Anaïs tries to pursue the werewolves, but it seems even the forest is against them and the group keeps on running in circles. A magical barrier is preventing them to go deeper inside of the forest!

The Grand Oak

Anaïs turns to the Grand Oak, by finding his lost acorn he will lift the magical barrier. With the barrier gone the group can push deeper into the forest and track down the werewolves all the way back to their hideout: the Elven Ruines.

The Werewolves Den

Lady of the Forest

As the group reaches the Werewolves Den the werewolves lead you to Witherfang who is actually called the Lady of the Forest. Instead of a white wolf she is now in her true form. The Lady tells Anaïs it was Zathrian who originally created the curse to get revenge against some humans a long time ago. She asks if Anaïs could bring back Zathrian back to her so she can convince him to lift the curse. Thinking it’s the best solution Anaïs decides to look for Zathrian, but as she leaves the Den she finds out Zathrian has followed her to the Elven Ruins!

Followed by Zathrian

He is not willing to just go and lift the curse! His soul is connected to the curse, if the curse is lifted he will no longer be immortal. Next to that he is still unable to forgive the humans for what they did to his children long ago. Anaïs defeats Zathrian and he finally surrenders. The ones who did wrong to his children are long gone and it’s now finally time to lift the curse. As the curse is lifted, the Lady of the Forest disappears and Zathrian finally dies.
