In this section you can find my Tech Specs or ‘technical specifications’ – a collection of my favorite electronic consumer goods I own and use or have used and still have.
Mobile Phone

I started my subscription at T-Mobile (The Netherlands) in 2003 and after 6 years I’m still a happy customer. I picked out the iconic Sony Ericsson T610 in Aluminium Haze. I really like the retro design by Erik Ahlgren. I used the phone for about 3 years and in 2006 it was time to look for a replacement. I totally fell in love with the Rose Pink Sony Ericsson Z610. It has a hidden display under the magic mirror cover. I loved using this clampshell model which reminded me of all the stylish Japanese phones on the market.
In 2008 I found out T-Mobile got an exclusive deal with Apple and could offer the iPhone 3G to her customers. I got the iPod Touch as a Christmas gift from my (former) job and really enjoyed using it. Because of my positive experience with the iPod Touch I decided to get a black/white iPhone 3G 16GB model when I renewed my phone subscription. I plan on updating my iPhone next year to the iPhone 3GS (or newer). I don’t think I will ever go back to a different brand, I just love my iPhone too much.
Television

I own a 26″ Samsung HD Ready model LE26R32B television. I received this television as a birthday gift from my parents in the summer of 2007. Even though it’s an early HD Ready model it works perfectly and I use it together with my PlayStation 3 and my desktop computer.
Sony PlayStation

I’m proud to say I’ve been a PlayStation owner since the first model. I owned both the charcoal black and silver PlayStation 2 Slim editions. I gave my silver PlayStation 2 Slim to my brother and still keep the charcoal black to be able to play my old games. Unfortunately my PlayStation 3 is not backwards compatible. Even though there were a lot of people who thought the old design of the PS3 was rather bullky… I just love it. I really don’t like the design of the new PlayStation 3 Slim. I love the piano black color (shiny finish) and the ‘tall, dark & handsome’ feel of the original design.
I also own a ceramic white PlayStation Portable (1000 edition). I’m thinking of updating my PSP to a piano black or blossom pink Slim & Lite 3000 model so I can play all the classic PlayStation titles that are being re-released through the PlayStation Network Store.
Personal Computer

After frying the motherboard of my limited edition Packard Bell EasyNote MB84-P-004 model laptop and already donating my first laptop (PB EasyNote R009) to my brother, I decided to get a normal quad core desktop computer. I now own a Packard Bell iMedia X5570 which is an awesome computer for a very low price. I wanted to build a computer myself, but to get the same specs this one has I would have paid twice as much! I use my computer with my Samsung HD Ready television.
Netbook

Because I missed the mobility of my laptop I decided to buy the Asus Eee PC 1001HA netbook. Of course it’s a lot weaker than my desktop computer, but I love to use it as a small study buddy. I can read .pdf files, do a little word processing and surf the internet – which is more than enough. Oh and it only weighs 1,1 kilograms, ain’t that sweet?
Accessories

Because I always love to make backups and store files I don’t use that often I own a LaCie 500GB External Harddisk. At times I have to carry around smaller files especially for uni classes. So I also own a ScanDisk 16GB Micro Cruzer USB stick.
Digital Camera

Even though the Canon IXUS 80 IS is a very standard digital camera I’m really impressed how it holds up when shooting short video’s. I use it to shoot daily life photo’s and just recently used it to make video’s. I was pretty impressed when the little didn’t broke down on me when I shot a clip of Tiësto during EVOLUTION with subwoofers close by (watch).
